Still Life - Unreal engine lookdev

The art style of Disco Elysium has always fascinated me. I’ve always wondered if it was possible to take Aleksander Rostov’s beautiful style and bring it into the realm of full 3D. To explore this idea, I decided to create a small still life inspired by their work.
it was not only great for learning and getting out of my comfort zone, but it was also just fun to be making props again. im very satisfied with the result and am very exited to explore it further

Very early testing of a custom stylized reflection capture system. i found it very important to have more extreme, Abstract and expressive reflections to make sure the painterly style is convincing.

the wall was made by modelling a high poly version of it and then converting that onto a low poly wall to create a "trimsheet" of sorts
